Okrug is
situated on the west part of Island Èiovo. It consists of two traditional
Dalmatian inhabited places Okrug Gornji and Okrug Donji.
The island of Èiovo is
connected to mainland by the bridge in ancient Trogir so it makes an entirety
with a city. Its surface is 28.8 km2. It’s famous for its mild Mediterranean
climate, archipelago of small picturesque islands, innumerable small hidden bays
and beaches.
Geographical position
of Ciovo makes possible different trips to: cascades of river Krka (60 km),
Split (33 km), Medugorje (100 km). Besides, air-port is only 8km apart.
The Okrug Beach is
most popular beach on Trogir riviera.It is 3 km from Trogir center, easy
reachable by road which follows south side of Island of Ciovo, to Okrug Gornji.
Two kilometers long gravel beach is also called "Trogir Copacabana" because of
